SAP R/3 is the most widely used standard in ERP systems worldwide. It is stable, universal and contains the best practices of thousands of companies, while it can be adapted to individual customer needs. It is a fully integrated system composed of modules covering all key business processes. It also supports integration standards, allowing it to be linked to third-party systems.
SAP is ending support for SAP R/3 in 2027, with the last supported version being SAP ERP 6.0. EHP8. The successor product is SAP S/4HANA.
