Philips Technologies and Solutions
We have been an authorized distributor and service provider for Philips medical devices since 1999 (formerly a division of Hewlett-Packard). Our service technicians are regularly trained at the Philips International Training Center and have many years of experience in the medical device industry.
We provide sales and service of Philips medical technologies in the Slovak Republic in the areas of computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging MRI, interventional radiology, radio-diagnostic technology.
Computed tomography
By using spectral detector technology, the investigative possibilities are immeasurably expanded compared to a conventional CT scanner. The number of repeat examinations will be reduced, diagnostic certainty will be improved and the overall cost of diagnosis will be reduced. Studies have demonstrated the benefits of spectral CT in all areas of radiology, but particularly in cardiology and oncology.
Magnetic resonance imaging
With years of development and constantly pushing the envelope, Philips is bringing revolutionary solutions to harness and accelerate AI-powered examinations such as Compressed SENSE and the latest SmartSpeed. By using a gradient system with so-called coarse-layer technology, the manufacturer has succeeded in eliminating many of the shortcomings of conventional gradient systems, resulting in superior image quality and a reduction in the time required for examinations.
Philips offers state-of-the-art 1.5T MR imaging technology based on a revolutionary new fully sealed magnet – BlueSeal. The system is designed for easy installation and to reduce lengthy and costly service tasks. Based on decades of innovation, this revolutionary magnet operates with only 7 litres of liquid helium.
Interventional radiology
Philips is a long-standing leader in the field of angiography systems. The entire Azurion product family is designed on a standard hardware and software platform, to which new solutions and innovations are added. The systems are fully customizable and offer exactly what the customer needs. It offers not only a system, but more importantly a commitment to the customer and patients.
ClarityIQ technology, which provides high quality imaging for a complex range of clinical procedures, achieving excellent visibility using ultra-low dose X-rays for both patients and staff.
Philips also offers mobile devices with Zenition 10, 30, 70 C-arm. The Zenition C-arm can be equipped for vascular, cardiovascular and pain management applications. It offers solution options for orthopedics, urology, pacemakers, extremity intervention and neurological spine interventions.
Radiodiagnostic technology
In a demanding medical environment and daily practice, in addition to high quality imaging, faster and more accurate technologies are also coming to the fore, especially reducing the radiation burden on patients and staff. New methods using AI are increasingly making a significant impact on medical technology. Philips offers ceiling-mounted, folding wall, floor tripod and mobile X-ray solutions in its portfolio.
