Print management solutions support the implementation of managed print concepts and offer a range of additional features such as:
- Accounting and reporting: efficient management, e.g. by recording user or departmental costs, extensive evaluation possibilities.
- Follow-Me-Printing a Print Roaming: Capture prints on any printer at a site or multiple sites, data protection – only print when the user is at the device – avoiding unnecessary printing.
- Rule-based printing: optimise costs by automatically assigning printing systems or by making settings depending on the content of the print job, for example, avoiding color printing when printing emails.
- Authentication and management of identification systems: for example, MiFare or Legic Transponder/Card Reader for authentication in the printing system.
- Support for printing from mobile devices and workflow support.
Positioning and optimisation of the print fleet
As part of the design of the location and optimization of the print fleet, Axians Slovakia experts analyze the existing print infrastructure, print volumes and relevant requirements or processes in order to find the potential for optimization and cost reduction.
