Advisory:

Thorough analysis and understanding of customer requirements are prerequisites for successful data centre projects. As an independent provider, we rely on a sophisticated analysis methodology that results in a technological and financial basis for decision-making based on different operational forms such as private cloud, hosted private cloud, public cloud or hybrid.

Integration:

We then implement projects in a data centre environment. This may be the replacement or upgrade of hardware or software components, partial transfer to the Axians Slovakia data centre or partial migration of services to the cloud environment. When implementing a project, we follow the recommendations of the PRINCE2 methodology in order to minimize project implementation times and risks.

Outsourcing:

The implemented or existing architecture is operated on the basis of the ITIL model. The spectrum ranges from a simple “helping hand” approach to full outsourcing. Our proven processes, high flexibility and experience guarantee services that are optimally tailored to the customer’s requirements. The excellent quality is not only proven by numerous customer references, but also confirmed by independent bodies such as ISO standard certifications.

Modular service system

In the data centre environment, we offer services based on a modular system that allows easy adaptation of standards to the customer’s needs, thus enabling the highest possible flexibility.

  • Lease of premises: provision and maintenance of basic data centre infrastructure
  • Infrastructure: Procurement or provision of data centre hardware or shared hardware as part of an Infrastructure-as-a-Service model
  • Platform: integrated processes and technologies for managing infrastructure (Platform-as-a-Service)
  • OS-Near-Applications and Databases: preventive and stability enhancing activities, definition of backup strategy, application of patches
  • Application Management: second level support, continuous maintenance, continuous improvement and change
  • Business Processes: Consultancy in the area of optimisation and implementation of new business processes

Datacentre Axians Slovakia

Axians Slovakia offers operation of systems in the data centre in Žilina. This gives customers the opportunity to operate their systems and store their data in Slovakia, in compliance with the most stringent security standards and GDPR regulations.

At the heart of our data centre is compute, network and storage virtualization. A high degree of virtualization of all levels of infrastructure allows for maximum flexibility in service delivery. This allows customer systems to be integrated into the Axians environment regardless of their location. Security and firewall services can be optionally obtained if required.
