We took part in the largest corporate volunteering project in Slovakia.
Two teams of Axians Slovakia employees took part in volunteering activities on Friday 7 June 2024 as part of the International Volunteer Week and World Environment Day.
The first Axians team assisted in Bratislava in the renovation of the schoolyard of the kindergarten on Šustekova Street. The second team of volunteers joined forces to revitalize a tree avenue on A. Rudnaya in Žilina.
Both activities were part of the largest corporate volunteering event in Slovakia “Naše mesto 2024” (Our City 2024). The event, organised by the Pontis Foundation, brings together organisations from the public and corporate sectors with the aim of making cities a nicer place to live. More than 9,600 volunteers participated in the current 18th edition of the event. We thank the organizers for the opportunity to help in places of need, and we especially thank all our colleagues who participated.
We agreed with the motto of this nice event “I’ve got my heart in the right city” and we are already looking forward to the next volunteer activities!
