Axians Slovakia, an authorized reseller and service provider for Philips Healthcare technologies, was the general partner of the Neuroradiology Day - MR Workshop 2024 event.
30.10.2024 | On October 27-28, 2024, the Neuroradiology Day – MR Workshop 2024 was held at the Elizabeth Hotel in Trenčín. Its goal was to provide doctors with comprehensive and up-to-date information about current MRI examination options with a focus on the field of neuroradiology. More than 200 participants attended the event, which took place in a hybrid – onsite and online format.
The meeting program was intended for specialists in the fields of radiology, neurology, neurosurgery and doctors of other specializations, whose professional practice is closely related to the evaluation of MR images and the subsequent indication of surgical, radiological, pharmacological or other treatment. In particular, the program blocks with workshops exceeded the standard of regular medical education. They allowed to supplement theoretical education with the practical part of evaluating MR images through work at PC stations, and at the same time allowed to discuss directly with the lecturer.
Workshop participants gained:
- valuable knowledge in the field of innovative approaches in diagnostics;
- the opportunity to compare the advantages of MRI examination compared to other imaging methods;
- the opportunity to learn about interesting case studies
This accredited educational event was organized under the auspices of the Slovak Radiological Society and the Slovak Medical Chamber. The professional guarantee for the event was taken by MUDr. Michaela Jezberová, PhD., Head of the Magnetic Resonance Department of Dr. Magnet s.r.o, Kramáre Bratislava. The main medical topic was focused on patients with epilepsy – neuroimaging and management of drug-resistant epilepsy, a multidisciplinary approach.
